I'm fighting childhood cancer with love!

My son Leo, now almost 6 years old, battled Burkitt’s Lymphoma in 2009-2010, with intense chemotherapy for nine months.  I decided to ride with Pablove Across America because, while my son Leo is now cancer-free, many other children will not fare as well.  You can learn more about Leo's story here:  http://www.caringbridge.org/visit/leoweber  .  I joined the ride in 2009 for two days in Arizona, and in 2010 for a week down the California coast.  In 2011, I look forward to a week in the south, riding from Nashville to New Orleans.

Cancer claims the lives of more children than any other disease. There have been no new drugs developed specifically for pediatric cancer in the past 20 years. Pediatric cancer research is grossly underfunded by our government. To make a difference, people like you and me have to get involved.

This October, I'm partnering with the Pablove Across America cycling team to support the mission of the Pablove Foundation: to fund pediatric cancer research and advances in treatment, educate and empower cancer families, and improve the quality of life for children living with cancer through hospital play, music and arts programs.
